What makes a Toastmasters club distinguished?
There are three types of distinguished clubs: Distinguished, 5 goals, Select Distinguished, at least 7 goals, and President’s Distinguished, 9 or more goals. President’s Distinguished is the highest level a Toastmasters club can attain in a given year, achieving 9 out of 10 goals. Club goals are derived from completing speeches, leadership manuals, having officers trained, and membership. Seeing if a Toastmaster club is distinguished is a good benchmark to check the quality of the club.
