Favre is slated to finish near or at the top rank of nearly every major career passing statistic for quarterbacks. He has been consistent, throwing for over 3,000 yards every year with the Packers, and dependable, with the longest consecutive starting streak of any NFL quarterback. Favre is also friendly with the media and fans, unlike certain other quarterbacks, such as Michael Vick (who recently gave two middle fingers to his hometown crowd in Atlanta). He is also a clubhouse leader and veteran mentor to younger teammates. Currently, he is the best quarterback the Packers have, because Aaron Rodgers is still undeveloped as a starter (and besides which, he is out for the 2006 season anyway).
