What makes The Shadow Chronicles a “leitmotif score”?
It’s the use of clearly defined themes representing a character, an object, or an idea. The score is very intentional as to where each theme is in the film and what it is representing. However it also has a dual meaning of memories of better times for all of the soldiers, or of home, or of many of the emotions that soldiers might go through during a time of war.
