What may cause inflated absences on the PMR?

An issue has been discovered with the use of the Sign In / Sign Out and the Mass Sign In / Sign Out forms in eSIS (ATT080, ATT085, ATT180, ATT185). If an entry is made for a student on this form without an absence indicator, UERS is treating the record as an absence. This inflates the number of absences shown on the PMR. (Note: eSIS does not have this problem; student absences in eSIS are correct).
