What means or what is the function of each Led of the unit?
The unit has three leds, each one can be programmed, but they are pre-programmed from factory to reflect different unit states very useful for the user or programmer. Red led (PWR): On, means the unit has been connected to an appropriate power source (5 to 30 VDC). Red led (USR2) : On, means the unit has enough signals from GPS satellites and can work properly. Off means the unit is looking for GPS satellites signals and there are no enough even. If after a long period of time the led stills off check the GPS antenna connection and the GPS antenna location. Green led (USR1) : On, the unit has been registered by the Cellular network. Blinking or off, the unit can’t be registered by the cellular network, in this case check the cellular antenna connection, verify the SIM card is installed into the unit, confirm the SIM card was activated by the cellular carrier, finally verify the APN programmed in the unit.
