What misconduct or errors did the Notary commit?
(1) The Notary either improperly notarized the signature on an Assignment of Mortgage without adequately identifying the signer or he carelessly or consciously allowed someone else to affix his seal on the Assignment; and (2) The Notary’s unsound continuous practice of accepting an oath and pictureless ID card, and to only focus only on determining that the signatures on the ID card and document matched, would have permitted an imposter to sign the Assignment of Mortgage.
