Depends on what hardiness zone you are in. Around here veg and seed and what not just came out. It usually has much to do with the type of plant and what kind of ground temperature it needs. There are cold weather crops (broccoli, cauliflower, varieties of lettuce, radish, spinach, etc. etc. etc.) that require cooler weather, cooler ground temperatures. Then there are others that require much warmer temperatures (tomatoes, beans, squash, etc).
