What must happen before Pinnacle Bank can authorize and pay my ATM and everyday debit card overdrafts for new accounts opened on or after July 1, 2010, and existing accounts after August 15, 2010?
The following steps must all be taken before we can authorize payment for, and charge fees for paying overdrafts for your ATM and everyday debit card transactions. You must: • Be provided a copy of the official opt-in disclosure and notice. • Be provided a reasonable opportunity to opt-in. • Consent to the overdraft service for these types of transactions by affirmatively opting-in. • Be provided written confirmation that you chose to opt-in. Alternatively you may choose another overdraft product offered by Pinnacle Bank and we will pay your ATM and everyday debit card transactions within the limitations of those programs.
