Non-recurring fees are essentially service requests that the Transmission and Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) fulfills typically in response to a request directly from you or from us in response to an inquiry from you. The principal exception is a new service request for a specific date, for example, if you are moving to a new location and require service to initiate on a specific date, you will be charged a one time connection fee of between $16 and $55 depending on your service region. Switching from one provider to another is scheduled on a regular read date so as a result incurs no cost, recurring or otherwise. Another example is a meter re-read or meter test request. We do not initiate these, but if you suspect there is an inaccurate read, you may request the meter be tested or re-read.
