The same guidelines apply to the LIVE Program as other Lincoln Foundation grants. U.S.-based nonprofit organizations with a current 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service are eligible to apply. The LIVE Program recognizes volunteer hours for nonprofits in our local communities. The Lincoln Foundation supports organizations that respect diversity and adhere to nondiscriminatory practices. The Lincoln Foundation guidelines do not allow gifts to: public or private elementary or secondary schools, school programs, or school foundations; religious or political organizations; hospitals, hospital programs, hospital foundations, or nursing homes; posts or organizations of war veterans, or an auxiliary unit of such an organization; service or fraternal organizations; individuals; tax-supported organizations; or sports organizations/athletic associations.
