With six universities in Halifax, student accommodation is plentiful, but selection near the school is best in June and July. Most students live in Halifax’s South End. Expect to pay $500 to $600 per month for a bachelor apartment, $500 to $1000 for a one-bedroom, $750 to $1000 for a two-bedroom, or $1000 to $1300 for a house.
