What online payment options are available?
There are a growing number of reliable payment options for online vendors. First, of course, are credit cards. Many people have them, but accepting credit card payments can be expensive and complicated for small business owners. PayPal enables consumers send money to anyone with an e-mail address. Funds are drawn from the consumer’s credit card, debit card or chequing account. PayPal protects users against unauthorized payments sent from their accounts and is more affordable for merchants than credit cards. In response to demand from online sellers and consumers, a number of reliable alternative payment methods have been introduced.
Online software purchases must be made using a credit card or any debit card that uses a regular credit card number, such as the Visa Checkcard. FHSU Tiger Card holders with a Commerce Bank account may apply for a Visa Checkcard by visiting Commerce Bank. See the Software Center Help section for more information about the purchase process.
