What physical education resources and facilities does the AIC offer?
The AIC grounds at Kewdale contain four outside basketball courts, four hardstand tennis courts and two full sized ovals. There is also a 25-metre swimming pool with eight lanes and eight starting blocks. A 10-metre high colour bond fence surrounds the pool, so that both male and female students can use the facilities without fear of being seen. The pool area also has separate men’s and women’s change rooms. The AIC boasts a fully equipped gymnasium, with a full sized basketball court, netball court and a state of the art, 10m high rock climbing wall. This is staffed by three full time Physical Education teachers with one each at Thornlie and Dianella.
