What piano grade is toccata and fugue in d minor?
Which particular Toccata and Fugue in d Minor [for piano!], have you taught yourself? Bach wrote 2 thus titled, but they were for organ – and neither would be capable of even semi-accurate performance at the piano. I imagine the Toccata and Fugue you refer to is the slightly over-played organ work by Bach, but I really wonder what you do for a pedal part when you are playing the fugue…. [ This part is played by the feet at the organ…] [ How many arms have you? ] As this work is for organ, not piano, it is, of course, not listed amongst the works accepted for any Piano exam, I would think. Other works? I recommend that you play what your teacher suggests. If you have no teacher, I would recommend that you try to obtain one.
