What picture format does the Sansa Connect support?

The Connect supports JPEG (but not JPEG2000) and PNG formats. Although you can directly copy these files to the Connect, SanDisk recommends using the Sansa Media Converter to transfer these file types to the Connect. The Sansa Media Converter will reformat the pictures to the correct screen size which will reduce the file size, load the pictures faster and provide a better viewing experience.
