What position is the baby inside the womb at 31 weeks?
At 31 weeks a lot of babies are still in odd positions, however, there is still lots of room for the baby to move around especially if she/he is not the first baby. As the proportions of the baby’s body gradually changes over the next couple of weeks and the head becomes larger and heavier it is very likely that she/he will start to lay “longitudinally” as we refer to it in midwifery which is lying straight in the uterus with his/her bum up and head down ready for a normal vaginal delivery.
