What problems do retailers face with ID cards?
Up to now the problems retailers face, along with publicans and cinematographers is that they aren’t sure which cards are genuine and which are fake. If a person they suspect is under age produces a proof of age card, they cannot accept it with confidence. Even though it is well within their rights to refuse service once ID has been presented, it defeats the object of having ID cards. With PASS, when they see the hologram on a card they will instantly know it is genuine.
