In general, the cleaners should check whether a wet mopping or cleaning product has DIN V 18032-2 certification so that it does not have a detrimental impact upon the non-slip property of the flooring. The cleaning and maintenance products used must be suitable for linoleum and the application concentration must not exceed the pH-value 9. Substances that are too alkaline attack the natural linoleum ingredients and seriously damage the sports floor. Wet mopping is preferred to dry cleaning as it has a better dust binding effect.
