What progress has Barnet London Borough Council made in the last year?
The Council is generally making improvements in priority services and wider community outcomes, and overall residents satisfaction with the Council has improved. Half of all indicators are now in the top performance categories, though 17 per cent do not compare well with other local authorities. Education attainment, road repairs, recycling, determination of planning applications and life expectancy are improving. Value for money is adequate, but performance in crime, the top community concern has not improved.The Council is working to improve access to services, but cannot yet show clear outcomes for all users.
