What qualifies as a “direct service” organization? Can intermediary organizations apply for this funding opportunity?
EMCF seeks to expand programs that provide services and programs directly to young people ages 9-24. A key factor in our determination will be whether an organization holds itself accountable for the outcomes its programs seek to achieve, and whether an organization directly tracks and reports on outcomes in our three target areas of education, employment and/or avoidance of high-risk behaviors. Intermediary organizations that hold themselves directly accountable for youth outcomes in education, employment and/or avoidance of high-risk behaviors, and directly measure, evaluate and report on such outcomes are also eligible to apply. Please note federal statute forbids the regranting of SIF funds.
