The primary record format used for exchanging records between RDN hubs and HEA subject centres is defined by the LOM binding of the RDN/LTSN LOM application profile (see section 5.1). An XML schema for this binding is provided at http://www.rdn.ac.uk/oai/lom/lom.xsd.
