ApTest Manager can be configured to operate with third party revision control tools that offer a command line interface. Examples are ClearCase, CVS, Perforce, RCS, and Subversion. If revision control is configured, operations performed on tests by ApTest Manager are also communicated, transparently to the user, to the revision control system. The revision control system’s standard UI is used to do things like generate change histories for tests or back out changes to an earlier level.
