What services does the DART Program provide?
Treatment services are presented in a milieu orientation and include the administration of methadone over a period of time to reduce withdrawal symptoms, control cravings and permit normal functioning so that clients can develop a productive lifestyle. Clinical interventions are provided in both individual and group settings and relate to the biopsychosocial antecedents of addiction (ex: insight into chemical dependency, family issues, legal, health, mental health, vocation, housing). Some of these services are provided through outside agents whom the DART Program has established service agreements with.
