What should be done about Londons transport problems?
London deserves the best transport system in the world. Currently it is inefficient, out-dated and severely lacking investment. Continuing disruptions to the tube and train networks such as delays and closures, add to the general lack of confidence in the public transport infrastructure and the consumers’ unwillingness to travel and shop in Central London. The infrastructure of London must be improved through increased Central Government funding and steps must be taken to improve consultation with key stakeholders to help limit the disruption to transport services (such as when tube and mainline train closures are being decided upon).
