What should i buy to change the sound of my mustang and gain some Horsepower?
The answer to this question is different for the 1979-2004 mustangs and the 2005-2010 mustangs. 1979-2004 Mustangs Answer: If you are looking to add sound and horsepower you should add a cat-back exhaust kit. These give you a deep sound and about 10-12 HP. If you need more sound and more power then you will need to add headers. 2005-2010 Mustang Answer: You will only need an Axle back exhaust. These consist of about 1 foot of pipe, 2 mufflers and 2 tips. This is all it takes to add 10 horsepower and great sound to your mustang GT.
