Sigh. Having two girls share a room is one of the hardest placements for exchange students. I never recommend it. However, since you already are having problems … here are some things that might help. 1. Have a family meeting. Try not to look like you’re ganging up on her … allow her time to speak and air problems as well. Explain to her nicely you don’t mind SHARING but you really need your half of your closet, etc. If necessary suggest putting in a divider to keep things fair. 2. Call your area representative. He or she should be available to come out to your house and help mediate a situation. That’s their job. The AR should help you set up something in writing for everyone to adhere to. Sometimes putting things in writing and posting them makes it easier to remember. 3. You and your parents need to treat her as a household member and NOT a guest. Do you have chores? Does she? She should at about the same level that you do! And there should be consequences for not doing them. Ar
