What should I do if my Funambol BlackBerry application cannot access the Internet to reach the server?
Several techniques are applied by the Funambol application to automatically detect the APN to use for your Mobile Operator and connect to the server. However, if you are still unable to connect to the server, you may need to manually set the TCP Settings on your BlackBerry device to your mobile operator’s APN (please note that some carriers might vary or even remove these manual settings from their branded BlackBerry devices): • press the Menu Key while in the Home screen of your BlackBerry device • select Options • select Advanced Options • select TCP • enter the APN information specific to your operator If you have defined your own settings according to the above procedure, the device will use these ones as preferred choice for Internet access. Note: for more information on how to use the application, please refer to the online help of the application.
