What should I feed my newly born baby chicks and their mothers?
First of all, mother hens do not feed the chicks, the chicks are self-sufficient as soon as they hatch. The mother’s job is done when the eggs hatch. Feed the mother whatever she normally eats. Separate the chicks so that the adult chicken(s) do not eat their food, and so you can regulate the temperature. Feed the chicks starter chick crumbles from the feed store. Also give them a water dish. Here is more detailed info: http://www.ehow.com/how_2097688_feed-bab… Sara You can contact me if you have questions. It is not spelled baby’s. It is babies.
