What should I look for when purchasing a pinball machine or other gameroom item?

By far, the most important consideration in the purchase of any game is its cosmetic condition. Much of the value of a pinball machine is contained within the unique artwork on the backglass, playfield and cabinet. Non-working machines can be fixed, but heavily worn or cosmetically damaged games are difficult to restore effectively, can be very costly, and oftentimes never look right. Our policy is to never purchase any game for resale that we would not be happy to place in our own personal gameroom. We will not spend the time and cost necessary to restore a game which is not in cosmetically superior condition. Worn games are routinely stripped for parts – period!
