What should one delete first on their computers hard drive when making more space?

My computer’s disk space is nearly full, and I’d like to know what takes up the most space on a computer so I can begin to delete things to make room for more files. It’s also incredibly slow because there’s so much on here, another reason I want to get rid of things.
