What should the client wear to a spray tanning session?
Clients should wear loose fitting clothing to the tanning appointment. In warmer months flip-flops or sandals are recommended rather then shoes and socks. If using an airbrush or spray gun the client can wear either an old swimsuit or dark undergarments while being sprayed. Disposable undergarments are available through our online store. These can be sold to the client and increase the salons profits. Some salons will allow their clients to be sprayed nude if they so desire. Allow a few minutes drying time after the session before dressing. The tanning solution will wash out of most fabrics, but some can stain such as silk, Nylon, Lycra, Spandex and wool. Note this can be a concern if a client leaves the solution on overnight and has silk sheets on their bed.
