What situations would require a repeat C-Section?
• The scar on the uterus is vertical rather than transverse (horizontal). • Dr. Wareing will require a copy of your operative report to verify a transverse incision was made if you are considering TOLAC. • History of three or more previous cesarean sections. • Multiple gestation (twins) with a history of a previous C-section. • Other obstetrical complications. • Any problem occurring during pregnancy or labor requiring a C-section for the health and safety of either mother or baby.
