What support can a student receive with their coursework?

There is a range of coursework support that students at the University can access. All students can access the Education Drop-in Centre for support with the academic elements of their courses. Students who are registered with the DDS may be eligible for tutorial support and/or study skills support via a Dyslexia Tutor. This involves working on a one-to-one basis on coursework such as essays, projects, dissertations and presentations. Working with a Dyslexia Tutor may involve guidance with researching, structuring and planning essays, referencing, support in writing and delivering presentations, and exam revision (although this list is not exhaustive). Please note: the Dyslexia Tutors do not provide a proofreading service. It is not the University’s approach to prescriptively recommend coursework extensions for students registered with us.
