Courses are taught in a variety of methods incoporating lectures and discussions with case studies and computer simulations. Some classes may also have group projects.

Students receive a study pack for each course before the start of Term, which consists of high quality print based study resources. This package contains: • A study guide which leads students through the concepts, readings and activities for each course • Resource materials (additional readings, extracts from textbooks, conference papers, etc.) The courses have been designed so that students can apply the maintenance principles and techniques to their own work situation. Each course is a structured learning module that will guide you through the concepts being covered. Assessment for each course generally consists of two or three assignments. Assessment items are structured so as to allow students the opportunity to gain immediate value from the course material by applying it to workplace situations. Students are required to have access to a computer as assignments must be submitted in a Word processed format. In addition, each course has an online website that provides further resourc
