What Third countries can animals be exported to?
The Defra authorities in London, on behalf of the UK, have written to approximately 25 countries to begin negotiations as to the conditions for export to those countries. Only when negotiations with each country have concluded will an export health certificate become available to permit export. This is a long process and is likely to take at least a number of months.
