I was a foreign exchange student not too many months ago, and I would have to say the best thing to do with them is spend simple, everyday life with them. Introduce them to YOUR world; if you like skateboarding, invite them along with you; if you read, show them the new book you just got. Probably the worst thing to do is to try to conform your life to what they are used to. One, you won’t be able to keep up with it because it is not your lifestyle, and two, that is not what they came to experience. Of course they want to see the sights also, but if they are staying with you for a good amount of time, don’t rush out and take them all at once. Really what they want, and what they came for, is to see everyday life. Of course, you don’t want to leave them in their room all day, but you do not want to treat them like a visitor either, taking them out everywhere. Find common interests; such as what food they like, or what music they like. Then next time you want to do something with them yo
