What topics does JNCCN cover?
The scope of the content includes the entire spectrum of oncologic health care, ranging from prevention and screening to treatment to supportive care and including public health policy. In addition, the journal reports rigorous outcomes data from the world’s leading cancer centers while providing a forum for correspondence and commentary. Each issue focuses on a particular area or areas of cancer or cancer care. For example, previous issues have focused on cancers of the gastrointestinal system; breast cancer screening, treatment, and prevention; and various aspects of supportive care. Topics scheduled to appear in 2008 and 2009 include breast and colon cancers, myelodysplastic syndromes, screening, and genitourinary cancers.
