What type of bird is the best pet?
Any breed of bird can be the “best pet” if you raise it right. I have all different types of birds and they’re all the best, really. The only “down sides” to them would be certain traits or eating habits (for example, my toucan has a very strict diet where she can only have distilled water and no iron whatsoever). I think all birds are beautiful but toucans look so exotic and unreal. Macaws are huge and virbant and galah’s are different, unexpected and pink! I love the crests of cockatoos and the mellowness of african greys. All birds are very intelligent (parrots, that is) from parakeets to hyacinth macaws. They are fast learners! African greys are known for being great talkers, along with Amazons and other birds of that sort.
