CareScience offers a wide range of flexibility for data abstraction and submission. As a client you have two options for data abstraction and submission: ASCII flat file format: If sending data via a flat file format, you would collect data using your internal abstracting tool and then transfer the data in accordance with CareScience specifications quarterly. Web-based submission: If entering data via Web-based data abstraction, you would collect data using the CareScience Clinical Information Architecture Web interface. This interface provides clients with the option of sending data on a record-by-record basis either retrospectively or in real-time via a secure Internet connection.
