What type of material is the Calibration Chart printed on?

250gsm matt art card. Top>> 7. Why is the Calibration Chart printed on this paper? The colors on the Calibration Chart only appear as they should on matt art card. But the colors appear differently on other types of paper that I am printing on. The paper type (250gsm matt art card) was selected as it provides the best mix of rigidity and surface non-reflectivity necessary for its purpose as a scanner-analyzed color reference. CMYK colors should appear according to their values irrespective of the paper type used. Since the Calibration Chart provides a target reference, Focoltone ICCS can adjust the printer’s CMYK output, through an ICC profile, to achieve the closest possible color match on the intended paper type.
