What type of paper is a magazine paper?

It depends what sort of magazine you’re producing as magazines vary on how high-end they are. But as a rough idea, if you want something fairly thin, like say in a weekly magazine, go for something under 100gsm (the weight of the paper) and in a silk. But if its more high end, perhaps 100gsm or slightly over. You can also get gloss paper for covers/photography/fashion pages and for a cover, you may want the same paper as the rest if its a weekly magazine, but for something high-end , something as high as 250gsm in a gloss. It’s probably best to get samples and then decide. Hope this helps!
