What type of person is a good candidate for The Philadelphia Teaching Fellows?
There is no one profile that makes an ideal Fellows candidate. Our Fellows come from a wide range of backgrounds and bring their unique talents, skills and abilities to the program. Strong candidates are those who have excellent academic and professional records, are committed to having a positive effect on student achievement – and on the city and neighborhoods-at-large, who display excellence in their previous endeavors, and who are dedicated to reaching and influencing students (especially those in under-resourced areas) on a daily basis.
