A. There are several types of payments that can be accomplished with Amegy Bank of Texas’ AmegyConnect™ ACH service. Direct Deposit – enables you to enter information for the recipients of your scheduled deposits such as payroll or retirement benefits, and then submit the payments according to your payments schedule. Preauthorized debits – payments authorized to be drawn from a consumer’s account. Some examples include insurance payments, mortgage payments, and utility payments. Tax Payment – enables users to make payments in ACH format for federal, state, and local taxes. Vendor Payments – enables the user to make payments to a selected vendor and includes up to 1,000 lines of detailed invoice payment information. Book Transfer – enables a company to make transfers between accounts at Amegy Bank of Texas.
