What types of files can I upload to CourseWeb?

What happened? Be sure the file you upload is one of the acceptable file types (.txt, .html, .pdf, .rtf, .doc, .xls, .ppt) and make sure to add the file extension (.txt, .doc, etc.) to your file. When you upload a syllabus file, CourseWeb verifies that it is a valid file type. If the system does not detect a file extension, it will not display the information appropriately. I forgot to click Upload when I posted my file and after I previewed the page, the file appeared to be uploaded. Is that OK? Yes. CourseWeb is currently set up to refresh the page display when you click Upload, Preview, or Save and Publish.
