These standards are applied to help prevent security risk from forming or escalating: • The CERT (www.cert.org) Web site will be monitored for security risk announcements that may impact the servers, and critical system-related patches are applied the same day they become available to the public • Windows Updates and Hot Fixes will be monitored for security and stability updates that may be relevant to our environment • Symantec Anti-Virus™ Corporate Edition will be installed on all servers and managed from a remote server for updates.
