What types of services does Packard Childrens Hospital provide?
Together with the child health programs at the Stanford University School of Medicine, Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital offers a full array of research, clinical care, and surgical services for children and expectant mothers. These services range from both primary pediatric outpatient care to advanced specialty services such as cardiology and heart surgery, neurosurgery, liver and kidney transplantation, cancer care and bone marrow transplantation, asthma, neurosciences, psychiatry, and critical care for premature infants. Along with clinical services, Packard and Stanford physicians are engaged in Pediatric Research to help cure and better treat many childhood diseases and conditions. Packard Children’s Hospital also offers many Family and Community Services to support children and their families during hospitalization and to provide outpatient care to those families who may not have access to Packard quality care.
