What was going on between Mark and Juno in the movie “Juno”?
If you remember, Juno put on lip gloss/stick before she went in to see Mark right before the dancing thing happened. I believe she was flirting with him and did have a subconcious crush on him. The thing is that she wasn’t ready for what happened and she freaked out. She never really believed it would happen even though she was flirting, which is a symbolic way of showing that she is still a child despite her circumstance. As far as mark goes he thought she knew exactly what she was doing, so he made a very adult pass at her which she was not ready for. Juno was the final straw that made him realize he was not ready for a “regular” life.
