GW: From my understanding, it was fairly competitive to gain entry into the program. Georgetown offers several different emphases within their MS in Physiology program. The level of competition varies from one emphasis to the other. CC: What coursework did you complete in the program? What was the curriculum like? What was the length of the program? GW: The length was 13 months. The coursework ranged from hard sciences like physiology, biochemistry, and biostatistics, to softer science courses such as history of complementary and alternative medicine. In addition, Georgetown offered elective courses. I took legal aspects of complementary and alternative medicine (this is taught at Georgetown Law School) and audited a class on healthcare at the business school.
