November 15, 2007 – TCM works behind the scenes to ensure the tech tax, which was not proposed at the outset of the special session, is not part of the final revenue package. TCM assured by leadership that the tech tax is not being taken seriously. November 18, 2007 – Tech tax slipped into SB 2 – Tax Reform Act of 2007 late at night without benefit of the legislative process, input from businesses or proper hearings.
