What ways did the industry of India change towards imperialism?
The British East India Company was the largest economical and political enterprise that the world had ever come to know. It’s influence affected many people, countries and cultures. The company changed India forever. The law, constitution, economy, and culture would never be the same after the company dominated for over 100 years. It also set the stage for Britain’s control of India, or British India, and caused the Britain to rule India for 75 years after the company was dissolved. The British East India Company had a list of accomplishments, but most of all the imperialism of India’s political and economical growth and power. The company began prospering, by establishing trading posts all over in such places as Madras, Machipatanam, Surat, and in Calcutta.
